Hello! My name is Ian McCaffrey and these are my wines!

California Icons is a passion project of location-based wines that focuses on regional landmarks significant to me as the centerpiece of the labels. I showcase three wines; a cool climate, medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County, crisp refreshing Rosé from the Central Coast, and a new zesty Chenin Blanc from Clarksburg AVA.

I am currently featuring three different icons as the label art! Tower Bridge in Sacramento, Coit Tower in San Francisco, and Lifeguard Station 26 in Santa Monica. I have spent a great deal of time in all locations, and share a deep connection with these landmarks. My winemaking career began at UC Davis just across the causeway from Tower Bridge, Station 26 was the site of my first date with my now wife, and all of my childhood best friends have left sleepy St. Helena in Napa Valley to move to San Francisco, and hence, Coit Tower always reminds me of time spent with friends.
